Azure Functions v3が一般提供された。これはCore Toolsのバージョンアップであり、Javaの観点から言うと、開発面ではv2との違いはない。大きな違いは以下の通り。

• 依存関係。以下の黄色部分を~2から~3に変更する必要がある。
• ローカルでテストする場合に必要な、Core Tools 3.0をインストールする必要がある。

Bindingの変更はない。言語のバージョンは、リリース当時はJDK 8のみだったが、2020/07/21の時点でJDK 11がPreviewではあるが追加された。以下のスクリーンショットならびにリンクではまだ反映されていないが、Azure Functions Java developer guideの英語版ドキュメントには記載がある（日本語版も近いうちに更新されるはず）。
